2 years old and New Years Eve

Wow, I can't believe that this blog is 2 years old. I started this  blog  December 31, 2009. Hard to believe that 2 years have past.

My hopes for 2012 is that I can be a better person all around. Most of all a better christian. I hope that everyone I come in contact with will see christ in me. In my words, actions and deeds.

I hope that 2012 is a wonderful year for you. I hope that all your dreams come true and that you will live your life to the fullest everyday and most of all that you will live it for God.

I do have alot I want to accomplish in 2012. I have a list of Goals that I am going to work hard on.

Happy New Year my friends.

Thanks for reading my blog and coming along on this journey we call life with me.  I hope to encourge you more in 2012.

Sounding Board

Do you ever just need a sounding board. Well today has just been one of those day where I really needed a sounding board. Just someone to bounce my troubles off of. Today has been a very difficult day.

I went with my mom to visit a very sweet lady in the nursing home. Tomorrow she will be 97 years old. Wow what an amazing honor for her. She is the sweetest lady. I just lost it while we were visiting her. I started crying and just had to leave the room.

My mom was talking to her and they were talking about my aunt. My aunt use to make the most delicious homemade rolls and she would take them to this lady all the time. Well she made the statement that she just doesn't understand why she stopped.  Well my aunt passed away 4 years ago of a stroke. This very sweet lady just can't remember she was told of her death.  It just  broke my heart that she thought that my aunt no longer wanted anything to do with her.  I like to have never stop crying.

We were eating Lunch yesterday and my son mention my nephew that passed away nearly 10 years now. He was 16 years old when he got killed in a 4 wheeler accident. Well I just lost it again. I had been thinking of him nearly all month long, just never said anything to anyone and when he mention his name I guess I just couldn't hold it in any longer.

So I guess you could say that the last 2 days I have just been very emotional and just needed to have someone to be my sounding board.

I know alot has been bothering me lately and I hope that next year will be a better year for a lot of people, My pray is that everyone will be closer to God and will fully trust in him word.

I hope that everyone has a very blessed last week of 2011. My you be safe in your travels and may 2012 be a blessed year for you and your family.

Chocolate Chip Cookies and Christmas Decor

Well, I guess you can tell that I have been gone for a few days. Like usual the holidays are a very busy time for the Fuller household. All the decorating, cooking, visiting and then add work on top of that, leaves me just drained by the end of the day. I had 2 jewerly partys to go to on top of that but only manage to get to 1.

Tonight my hubby and daughter did some cooking and made Chocolate chip cookies.  They look absolutely delicious. They turned out so good. She did a good job baking them.
Thought I would tease you with a pic.

I have done lots of baking this christmas season. I have loved every minute of it. I have manage to make 8 or 9 batches of pecan brittle, 3 batches of white chocolate fudge, 2 pans of peanut butter fudge. Some peanut butter cookies, crock pot candy and some Marys balls best candy.  My husband made his white almond bark candy and tomorrow I am making oatmeal lace cookies. PHEW, I am tired just reading all of this, hehe. I think I may have gain a few pound in the process to.

This is one thing I love about the holidays is all the baking. I love to bake and I love to bake with the ones that I love. I am not that thrilled this year with decorating tho. Now sure why, but his year I just wasn't in the mood to decorate. I left it mostly up to my kids to do the tree and my hubby did the garland around the front door and I stuck with the decor in the kitchen.

I thought I was thru with all my christmas shopping but I went to wrap my presents for my sister and I figured out I didn't have hers, uuuggghh. I could just scream. I do not want to get back out in that madness again but it looks like I am going to have to.  I know exactly what I want to buy her and the store opens at 7am so I plan on hopefully be there when they open and be back home by 8am and hopefully miss most of the crowd.

I also wanted to show you our  NEW PRECIOUS PUPPY.We have a new golden yellow lab. Her name is Zoey and let me tell you she is a pistol ball. She has mangae to chew a hole in my laundry room wall, chew up 2 of my mops and chew up 7 sponges and 1 ping pong ball. She ripped my daughters shirt and chewed up my sons laptop cable and earphones. The cable cost 85.00 to replace.  Lets to say she loves to Chew.
Here is sweet and mischievous Zoey

That picture was taking when she was 7 weeks old, she is now 10 weeks old and a live wire, lolo.  We love her dearly and spoil her unbelieveable. She already had a christmas stocking.

Sorry for this long post but hope you stuck around to read it all.  I hope that you have finish your shopping and you can now enjoy your family and the rest of the Holiday Season.

Gone In An Instant

I started out this weekend with a very heavy heart. I learn that one of the couples that we go to church with , their granddaughter got killed in a car accident last night. She was only 15 years old. She was such a beautiful young lady. She was a christian so we can rest in knowing that she is with Jesus today.

We are fervently praying for her parents and her grandparents and aunts and uncles. As she was very close to all of them.

I hope that if you have children or just anyone that is close to you that you make sure you take the time to tell them you love them and most of all make sure that they know Jesus Christ.

This beautiful young lady touch so many lives while she was here. She was very active in her youth group at church and went on several mission trips with them.

My prayer today is that all of her family with hold close to all the wonderful memories and cherish them always.
