Softball is in full swing and we have been sitting at the softball field just about every night. I love every minute of it. This is my daughters first year to play on the JV team at school and she loves it. She played for our community league team for 2 years and loved it. Finally got to the age to where she could try out for the school JV team and made the team. We got about 2 or 3 more weeks of this and then that will be it for the games for the year. It is a short 2 month it seems like.

Today my dad had a pacemaker put in. He did ok with the surgery. Got really sick with the pain meds they give him so they decided not to give him anymore. Which didn't make my dad very happy. He was in pain and also very very sick at his stomach. If you remember from my earlier post my dad was told he had skin cancer. He was suppose to went this past Friday and had surgery for that. But his heart doctor told him that having the pacemaker  put in was so much more important first. That his heart wouldn't stand him being put to sleep for the cancer surgery if he didn't have the pacemaker first. So he will have to wait 4 to 6 week recover time. According to my mom my dad had backed out of having the cancer surgery now. Said he will not have 2 surgeries back to back like that. So we will see how this will end up.

Today has been a beautiful day outside. It has been in the high 70's and just a gorgeous day.  I hope that your enjoy the start of your week and may God richly bless you today.

22 Years ago today and Losing my Hearing

22 Years ago today I married my best friend and the love of my life. God richly bless me with a wonderful Godly husband. He is a wonderful father to our 2 beautiful kids and a awesome Spirtual leader of our household. He also make sure that the kids are following God word and living it to the best of their ability and always giving them suggestion on what to study next in their daily walk with God.

Happy Anniversary Sweet Heart. I love you very much. I hope I can spend 100 more years with you.

On another side note. I went today to have my hearing tested. I am in my 40(will not give my exact but knew that I was having trouble hearing. I figure they would tell me that down the road I would need hearing aid.

But after my hearing test , She told me that I had significant hearing loss. That my right ear was alot worse than my left and that I needed hearing aid NOW. While I can still make out sound to words. I couldn't believe it.

She put some hearing aids in my ear that she had in the office and I was just amazed at what I heard. I could hear the lady talk that was in the other room. I could hear people walking across the floor, I could hear her wiping her hand on her computer. I didn't realize all the sounds that I didn't hear.

I also didn't realize how much hearing aids cost. Unbelieveable. That cost a arm and leg just about. lol.   Needless to say I will be paying on them for awhile. But it will be so worth it to hear again.

We were at the softball field most of the day with my daughter. They had tournments today.. I am tired and also sunburned. It was in the 80's here today. It was a gorgeous day to be outside and I loved every minute of it.

I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful weather and I hope that your weekend is wonderful.

God Bless

Cancer is such a horrible word. It send shivers down my spine when anyone says it.

My sister called the other night to let me know that my dad has been diagnosed with Cancer. He had a spot on his face removed back at the end of December. It came back and they removed it again in February. When it came back it had spread. They send it off to have it tested. The Doctor  told him last friday it was Cancer.

The same type of Cancer that his mother and his brother passed away with. My dad is going to Birmingham to another doctor this coming Tuesday. I ask for your prayers for him and my mom.

I have never been very close to my dad but it is tearing me apart to see it hurt my mom so. I ask for your prayers that God will  keep them safe in their travels to the doctor(it is 2 hours away) and that the doctor will be able to offer some treatment for my dad.

Thank you for thinking of my family during this very difficult time. I wish I could talk more about it but right now I am so tore up about it all that I can't seem to do anything but cry alot.

God Bless
